Teeth cleaning feelings of grandeur

Published: Wed, 09/25/13

I had to sit down in the dentist chair today for my 6-month
cleaning and checkup.

Got some additional x-rays taken (no cavities... boom).

Got the fluoride treatment at the end.

They had pina colada flavored fluoride. I asked if they had
bourbon flavored stuff, but no luck. Yet.

Got the once over from the dentist.

Everything's good to go.

As long as I "do the basics" -- like daily flossing --
this has been my dental routine for years.

I used to HATE flossing, but I found the right tool to make it
actually enjoyable.

That may sound crazy, this crackpot theory of "enjoyable
flossing."

Yet, with the discovery of the right tool for me, it really has
become easy and fun.

I'm talking about a Reach Flosser, which is like a toothbrush
handle that has these disposable floss heads.

They are also flavored with delicious mint.

Anyway, they make flossing much easier than using the "old
school" ribbon floss.

So when I have these dental checkups and cleanings, they
continually turn out good.

I leave the dentist office feeling like a new man.

Like a master of the dental chair.

I even had the hygienist thank me for "doing the daily basics
like flossing" because it makes her work a lot easier. And
the cleaning process is a lot less painful for me.

And a lot less bloody.

I've found that "daily routine" philosophy translates
to my business as well.

I used to really dislike writing these daily e-mails.

However, I have found that the more I do it, the more I enjoy
talking to you every business day like this.

Frac sand testing can be awfully painful for you.

The effort required for you to go out and get a sample or multiple
samples is heavy.

Especially since you are already busy with the rest of your duties.

The cost is not cheap, either.

But with some "snooping around," you can get initial
"go/no-go" testing done on a tight budget.

And with fast turnaround.

The payoff can be HUGE if your sand can be taken to market.

Only one way to find out.
