I'm gonna talk to Indiana Jones

In 1977, film maker George Lucas was coming off the success of a
movie called Star Wars. The publicity surrounding the movie had
blown up almost overnight, and Lucas needed to escape.

He was kind of a loner, extroverted type of dude, so he headed off
to quiet Maui, Hawaii. Another film maker, a friend of George
Lucas, by the name of Steven Spielberg was also there vacationing.
Spielberg had just finished his movie Close Encounters of the Third
Kind.

As film makers do, they ran some movie ideas by each other.

Spielberg told Lucas that he really wanted to make a James Bond
movie.

Lucas got excited, because he had been thinking about developing an
American "James-Bond-like" character, without all the
fancy gadgets and cars. Lucas loved the old movie serials of his
child hood like Flash Gordon, and he had thought of an interesting
character named Indiana Smith based on the characters in those old
movies.

Lucas told Spielberg his idea was "better than James
Bond."

Spielberg loved it and agreed.

They changed the name of the character to Dr. Henry
"Indiana" Jones, an archeology professor by day, who went
on adventures for famous artifacts in his spare time. A legend was
born, and Lucas and Spielberg made a lot o' money off the
Indiana Jones movies.

An interesting "Easter Egg" is that they created Indiana
Jones to be a James-Bond-like character. In the 3rd movie, Indiana
Jones and the Last Crusade, they got Sean Connery - who had played
James Bond! - to be Indiana Jones' father.

Anyway, I'm excited because I get to interview a "modern
day Indiana Jones."

This man stakes mining claims, is a mining consultant, and explores
abandoned mines in "his spare time"! You can see his
non-profit Mojave Underground in action at their website here:

His name is Stuart Burgess, his business is Burgess Exploration,
and he is going to be featured in the March issue of Frac Sand
Fortunes.

As a mining explorer, Stuart has been "hot on the trail"
of frac sand for some time now. He knows what to look for, he
knows how to sample, and I am going to provide an
"interrogation" of Stuart that would make the bad guys in
those Indiana Jones movies proud.

If you want to get after frac sand, "Indiana Jones
style," then find out how by subscribing to the March issue of
