Why he escaped the nursing home today
Published: Fri, 06/06/14
An magnificent story came out of the UK this morning.
An 89 year old WWII veteran -- he was in the Royal Navy during the
War -- left his nursing home without permission to attend the
anniversary ceremonies.
He had tried to sign up for a formal trip to the ceremony, but his
nursing home said, "your request is last minute, and not
possible."
So, like most veterans of his vintage, he took off to "the
action," wearing his rain coat and medals.
Called his war buddies, and told them "let's meet in
France!" And there he went.
They attended the ceremonies, then stayed at a French hotel.
And the nursing home discovered him -- GASP! -- missing!
The police called to check on him, and Mr. Bernard Jordan was doing
just fine.
The Allies didn't ask the Nazis permission to cross the
channel, rain paratroopers down by the thousands, and invade France
this day 70 years ago.
Mr. Bernard Jordan figured that he didn't need the permission
of his nursing home to commemorate this day in freedom -- well
done, sir.
Now, how does this relate to you?
Well...
...if you bend the rules from time to time...
...ignore the naysayers and take bold action on your own...
...watch where "the sheeple herd" is going, and then do
the opposite...
...I think we should probably do business.
Me thinks that we will get along nicely!
Reply to this e-mail, call or text, and let's do some business
